We are situated in Great Longstone, a small and peaceful village in the heart of the beautiful Peak District.

The village is built on the original settlement of Langesdune, mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086 and features Great Longstone Hall, built in 1747, and the church of St Giles which dates back to the 13th century.

The town of Bakewell, famous for its puddings, is just 2 miles away and has something for everyone with its picturesque walks along the banks of the River Wye and many historic buildings.

A short drive will bring you to the spa town of Buxton, another town well worth a visit, home to the Buxton Opera House and other notable architecture, including a crescent modelled on Bath’s Royal Crescent.
